WP-Andreas09 Theme Nears Completion

I think WP-Andreas09 is nearing completion!

I have only tested the theme in WordPress 2.0 so I am not sure if it will work in earlier versions. I have also tested it in the latest versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Netscape, Mozzila and Flock for Windows XP and also Mozilla and Konqueror for Linux. I have also seen some screen shots of the theme on Safari browser for the Mac where it looked identical to what it does on Windows.

I spent most of my time yesterday implementing a “current theme options” page to allow the change of the coloured images from within WordPress (screen shot above). This works much better than manually changing the images. Credit is due here to Ben Gillbanks the creator of the Regulus theme for WordPress. Although considerably modified I used some of his method for changing theme colours. I couldn’t have done it without, so thanks Ben.

I have emailed a zip of the theme to Andreas which hopefully he will get chance to try out soon. Although with New Year approaching and I sure he has other things on his mind.

If anyone else is feeling brave, and would like to give the theme a beta test, leave me a comment and I will send you a zip. (Just in case there is a large response I will limit this to the first 5 only.)
