Wordpress 2.0 Theme Competition

I am a bit late getting to this with one thing or another but in case you haven’t heard there’s a WordPress 2.0 theme competition taking place.

KCYap is hosting the competition and there are some great prizes on offer for the winners including:

  1. 60GB Ipod Video
  2. Sony PSP with 3 games
  3. Samsung E630 mobile phone
  4. IBM 24X CDRW/DVD Combo (slim) external drive
  5. 2GB Ipod Nano
  6. Belkin Wireless G Router with 4-port Switch
  7. Prince Webcam

It also looks like there may be an additional prize of a Playstation 2.

The competition is open to anyone, so if you fancy a shot at these prizes get over there and have a look at the Competition Blog for the full details.

[...] It seems that the WordPress theme competition that I posted about here is now dead and buried after it was allegedly hacked. Whether it was or if its creator couldn’t cope seems to be under hot debate at the moment. Whatever the answer is, it’s a shame that it turned into such a farce. [...]

Re KCYAP:The real person behind the posting of daily entries in 2dayblog.com is Malaysian blogger Justin Yap. Justin’s own website is kcyap.com but he committed a wordpress design contest scam earlier this year and he is now hiding behind the 2dayblog.com website. His website kcyap.com is now redirected to 2dayblog.com. If you type “kcyap +scam” in Google or Yahoo search box, you can view pages relating to the scam committed by kcyap.
