WP-Andreas09 Update Released
The latest update to WP-Andeas09 is now available for download.
New Features:
- A new horizontal menu that will support multiple levels of sub-pages.
- Parent page and current page highlighting.
- Now features 14 different colours to select from.
- Colour coded links to match the header colour.
- Various display bugs have been fixed.
This is not the finished version as I still have quite a few features to implement but I thought that you have been waiting so long I best give you something to be going on with.
The new horizontal menu is controlled by the WP-PagesNav plug-in by Adi Sieker that I have modified and inserted into the theme functions file. I’ve coded the plug-in into the theme because the menu just won’t work without it and it seemed to be an easier option for the end user than having to download and install the plug-in separately.
For the time being a demo can be viewed on my Theme Development Site. More information and download can be found on the WP-Andreas09 page

I think it is best for you to lobby wordpress.com to update the theme. I could ask but I think it is more likely they will respond to their users

Yes yes yes! Sorry it didn’t make it in this version but I really felt guilty that I was teasing so long with nothing to download!
Localisation has to be next. I think I will try in future to do a little and release sooner rather than later.
Glad to hear you like the new menu - it has given me a few grey hairs sorting it out.
