Plodding Along with WP-Andreas00

I’ve not managed to get very far with WP-Andres00 this week as the page navigation menu has been giving me more than its fair share of hassle. The trouble is making the code portable so that  it can be moved around with the Widgets and still look like it should, wherever it is put. I have just about got it sorted but there are still a few browser issues as it’s not quite right in IE.

It has been surprisingly complicated and so far there are about 150 lines of CSS for the page menu alone. It has certainly been a lot more complicated than I expected but I wanted to retain Andreas design while adding support for enough sub-pages to be useful. It would have been a lot easier without the Widget Support. However, Widgets seem to becoming a must have feature as they offer the end user an easy way of customising their sidebars without having to know a single line of code.  To to ignore them would probably be a big mistake.
