Live Testing Chameleon Theme
I am nearing completion of version 1 of the Chameleon theme for WordPress and have decided to test it here.
There is still some fine tuning to do and I need to look at the colour schemes as I think that the images may be a bit too dark on some monitors. The problem is that on my TFT monitor they look great but on CRT monitors they seen to be a little on the dark side. Also the link highlighting is not particularly good.
So far the features are:
- Widgetised sidebars with three drop areas for widgets (top, left and right).
- 4 colour options (green, red, blue and orange) changeable through the WordPress admin.
- Links and archive templates for pages.
- Semi-flexible width to fit 800px wide screen resolutions and above. Max width to fit 1024px screens.
One of the things that hasn’t been done yet is localisation. This will be added to a future version if enough people want it. I have decided that since I am very slow at doing these things and spend more than the average amount of time testing that I should at least get a release out in the next few days.
Things may change over the next few days as I tweak and change colour schemes. If you see something strange or have any suggestions please feel to leave a comment or send me an email.
