Widgets, Localisation and Custom Headers

Firstly an update about the problems I wrote about yesterday with the Widgets plugin. I have emailed the developers and they have responded with the news that a fix is underway. I’m always impressed by how much time these guys give up to the WordPress community! As soon as I get any more news I will let you know.

I got a comment from Calaf asking if I intended preparing the Chameleon theme for localisation. While I haven’t done this yet, I do intend to do this as soon as possible. I was going to start yesterday but a few things got in the way.

One of the most frequently asked questions about WP-Andreas09 is how to replace the header image with a custom one. I have responded where I have had time by email but I think it is about time that I wrote a tutorial about how to do this as it would save me time and be a better way of communicating it. I’m going to make a start covering a couple of ways. It may take me a few days so please bear with me.

    Hi Bo,

As far as I know it works fine in safari and firefox for Mac.

I found you blog at: http://stickandballguy.com/blog/ and it looks like you have introduced a lot of errors in the code. There are reports of missing code all over. Maybe if you run the site through a validator and set about cleaning all the code errors up it may work.
