Widgets Plugin Fixed

I am pleased to say that, thanks to the efforts of Andy Skelton the Widgets plugin is now working again as it should.

Andy has been busy ever since I first reported the problem last week and has kept me updated on his progress daily.

I think it goes to show why projects such as WordPress are so good. It’s not that there was a bug that is important. It is the way that it was fixed.

These guys get a 10 out of 10 for effort from me. :-)

    Andors, This sounds like an unrelated problem as even with the bug the widgets could be dragged and dropped on my Dev site and rearranged all you wanted but the changes didn’t show up on the site. When did you download the plugin? Maybe you could download the widgets again just to check you didn’t get a previous version.

    I tried with the new widgets package, drag & drop was worked. But as you said: “the changes didn’t show up on the site”; plus: the left or right sidebar was disappear!

    I would try downloading again. I have tried on different sites and it works without problems now for me!

    It worked perfectly with both WP-Andreas01 v1.2/v1.3 and with my new and still unreleased theme. Good!

    Great Stuff! Glad to see your themes are working.

    Andors the latest is Version: 1.0.20060711 - if you check in the widgets.php file it should say near the top.

    Now widgets works great…
    Just del.icio.us widget was not worked!!
    What about Localisation?! i hope you have got a time to do it..
