What’s the Future Hold

Since I have been really quite lately, I though it was about time I made an update about what’s going on and what I am doing.

I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had much time to do anything with themes or templates. I’ve also ignored a lot of email. Sorry if it was yours! The trouble is that the more popular the themes I have made have become the harder it it is to keep up with the emails and support requests. At times I have spent whole evenings responding to emails and done little else.

Ok, moaning over :-) So where to now?

I have been working on a WordPress project but not a public one so I can’t say much about that. I also have a new template that is just waiting for me to finish it when I get the time and I have been busy with my studies.

I have been giving the question of what to do with Webgazette.co.uk and my time a lot of though.

Realistically I haven’t got enough time to keep up much theme and template work for the time being. Either free or paid work so when my current projects are finished I won’t start any more until I have more time. I need to give more priority to my studies as these need to come first.

I have considered just giving up and taking the site down until I have more time but I really don’t like the idea much and it seems a bit of an over reaction. Eventually I shall have more time again and will want to do more.

I’m always disappointed that I end up neglecting posting here and it doesn’t take much time to post so I really should think about getting more posts out.

I really must give it more though but change is on the way ;-)

    Whatever you do, don’t take your site down. I’ll watch the house for you while you study.

    Just because you don’t update often anymore because of studies and other personal things, your site has a wealth of information on it.

    Hi Sean,

    Taking the site down isn’t an option. It would be a waste of all the work I have done so far.

    I think a few more posts more often and maybe take a step back with the themes and templates for a while is the way to go. I don’t really want to abandon the site.

    I think I’ll just have to plod along slowly doing a little, often rather than a lot like I used to.
