I’ll echo what Lars said about the drop down menus not being critical for a blog implementation of multiflex. They are definitely cool, but not mission critical.

Looking forward to a WordPress theme of MultiFlex! Thanks for all the opensource good will guys!

I’m also looking forward to a WordPress version of the theme. Although I like the drop-down menus, I wouldn’t have a problem sacrificing them for the side navigation bar.

Hey Guys:

I’ve been lurking here the last week or so..

Really love the look of MultiFlex3 and am looking forward to hear it’s good-to-go for WP. Not so concerned about the drop-down menu’s (they are slick tho.) at first, perhaps that could be part of rev.2 update? Meanwhile, will be checking in to see when it’s available.

These drop-downs are tricky. Now in the latest browser of Opera (Opera 9.10) the drop-downs suddenly do not work properly, as they did in the previous version Opera 9.0.2. Everything was OK finally, and now this …

No need to say sorry! WordPress is great but it is not always easy to fit things like the drop-downs. It is not your template!

I think I shall keep 1 level in the horizontal menu and then put sub-pages in the top of the right sidebar, like you have suggested.

Multiflex-3 is not to be seen as a template to use as is, but as a collection of many options, from which the user picks the ones he would like to use on his website or in his porting of the template. That is true not only for the navigations, but also for all the other options. The idea was to provide many options that are styled in harmony with the template, so the user can pick what he wants, without having to add further style options of his own and maybe having trouble to make it fit the general theme style. It is a “pick and chosse what you need” template, not a “use as delivered “template. In this way, the user himself decides how complex or easy the template will be in his application of the template, by keeping or deleting various options.
