Thanks for the feedback. That,s exactly what I was trying to do so it good to hear it worked

I think I spent the first 12 months talking to my self and it is hard to keep going. Blogging can be lonely when nobody wants to talk to you and it is difficult to tell if you are doing things right without feedback.

No doubt you have a view where you want to be but hang in there, and set realistic goals. Don’t make them too big. The most important thing is that you are happy with you blog

It would be great if you could write a few more like this, Ainslie.

I found this post to be extremely encouraging. It is easy to lose heart after a short while, and being given some suggestions on re-evaluating your blogging goals is always welcome. I need to be reminded to be patient and keep at it, you’re in it for the long haul. I do keep telling myself, but sometimes the nagging doubts come a-knocking.

Back on September 2, 2006 my site was listed as a successful blog which was a nice surprise… and I see you even mention the official successful blog site in your post.
