Modrel Template Nearly Finished

I have nearly finished my Modrel template.

I’m going to leave it a few days before I upload it for download just in case I decide to refine it further. I have purposly tried to leave the template as simple as possible so that it is easy to modify. I could add loads of styles for all sorts of things but the more I add the harder it will be understand what is going off in the CSS style sheet.

That looks sweet! Dual-column sidebars to the right has been my favorite layout for many years now. :) One of my ready-for-release templates (preview here) actually has the same layout. I hope that there is still room for a couple of more variations on the now classic layout… :)

…and it is very similar to your current design.

I changed it’s name to “Tribute” if you check out the preview (link in post) as a tribute to all open source designers.

I think there is still plenty of room for many more variations yet. It is difficult to design something that hasn’t been done before.
