The Effects of Motoring on Our Planet – ICE watch

Many people consider the modern motor car to be one of the best inventions in the history of the world; just imagine where we would be and how different our daily lives would be if we did not have the ability to use vehicles to travel around in. Certainly the environmental health of the plant may have been a lot better, but car manufacturers are increasingly turning to new technologies to refine the way motor vehicles are produced and driven and are constantly working to reduce the impact that driving has on our planet. Kia is one of the few car manufacturers who have responded to the public’s growing interest in, and desire for hybrid motor vehicles. Kia introduced their range of hybrid cars after debuting them to motor journalists at the Paris Motor Show in 2008; many car manufacturers are still yet to respond to the need for a hybrid vehicle and this has helped to push Kia to the forefront of the motoring industry.
Environmental concerns
Ask a group of motorists what their biggest concerns are when it comes to motoring and many will raise the issue of the rising fuel costs that is affecting their everyday driving habits; perhaps a more vital concern, and one that should be in the mind of every driver in the country, is the effect that their motoring has on the environment. Hybrid vehicles, such as those manufactured by Kia, are due to become ever more present on our roads as more motorists come to realise the importance of keeping emissions down. A hybrid vehicle combines element of a traditional vehicle motor with an additional electronic element. A traditional vehicle motor consists of an internal combustion engine; however hybrid vehicles have a smaller version of this but also contain one or more electric batteries. These two parts of the engine work in conjunction with each other to reduce the overall emission. There are also electric vehicles that have been developed that fully run from electric batteries; however these need to be refined further in order to make them a viable option for every motorist.
Further information
You might think that as a hybrid vehicle is a fairly new development that they may be some of the most expensive vehicles there are to buy; this is simply not the case. Many hybrid ranges have vehicles that cost the same price as a standard vehicle. Not only are these types of vehicle far more environmentally friendly, they can also help to reduce the costs of your everyday motoring; something most drivers wish they could reduce. As you are using your usually combustion engine in conjunction with an electric battery you will not need to fill up your vehicle with fuel so often; this can help save hundreds of pounds every year. There are also schemes in place that offer good discounts on hybrid vehicles in an effort to encourage more people to consider buying one.
Melting of the ICE caps
The Ice caps at the north and more prominently in the south are in grave danger! This is no joke the current estimate is within 20 years that the majority of ice in these regions will melt raising sea levels massively arround the globe.
The melting of the ICE will occur in our lifetime!
It may be all very well that you can buy a nice watch but this is a serious business! Manufacturing is worsening global warming and if anybody watched frozen planet on the TV last week will have seen lots of great and fascinating imagery taken by the frozen ice planet team but the reality is grim.
Ice watches we need to be vigilant and protect our plannet.

THERE’S a line in the song Golddigger, which topped the charts a few years ago for Kanye West, which says of a American footballer who gets taken to the cleaners by his ex-girlfriend:
“Wins the Superbowl on a Sunday, then drives off in a Hyundai.”
As well as some dubious rhyming, it illustrates the status of the company in many minds, not just rappers with emotional problems Understandably any company which is perceived as budget and wants to move up the ranks, and Hyundai is no different.

The Hyundai ix35 is a good looking car that is sure to win a few new admirers to the brand. Hyundai has developed a reputation for building cheap but reliable cars; this new model goes beyond that. The new Hyundai ix35 is not exorbitantly priced t it may give the impression of being an expensive car.
The Design of the Hyundai ix35
The Hyundai ix35 could best be described as a small off-roader and shares many similarities with the i30 hatchback. It is being touted as a replacement for the Tucson. The Korean company has attempted to design a vehicle that will appeal to the same type of driver that would be in the market for a Ford Focus. It is a fairly bulky vehicle but this size is hidden well by the design of the car. Some people claim it is the most attractive car to ever appear with a Hyundai badge.
Under the Hood
As to be expected the Hyundai ix35 will be available with a number of Read the rest of this entry

NEVER mind what the weather experts predict
- Ford says summer will be a scorcher thanks to its latest model. The Blue Oval has just turned up the heat for fast Ford fans everywhere with an even faster, more furious, Focus RS.
It’s a limited run of the current potent 2.5-litre Focus RS, but the engine has been tweaked to pump out a muscular 345bhp, a sizeable leap from the current model’s 301bhp.
Just 500 will start rolling off the production lines in May, so Ford has titled it the Focus RS500.
That number is to be shared between 20 European countries, but Britain will get 101 of them, which says a lot about the size of the fast-Ford following here. Read the rest of this entry
