I’m not normally one to get involved in politics but it seems the great, ahem, British Government, or probably more accurately Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs, has only gone and lost 25 million people’s personal data including date of birth, bank account details, addresses and goodness knows what else.
Way to go! It makes you wonder what else the Government can inflict on us. Whatever it is, you know damn well that they’ll find a way to tax it
For anyone that really wants to learn more about the latest farce look here or for a little eye opener try this link. I’m not really sure if I want to laugh or cry!

No posts for weeks then 2 in one day!
Google has been getting a lot of press over it’s recent review of its Page Rank that has seem many blogs Page Rank dropping through the floor.
From what I have been reading it would seem the many are suggesting less that honourable intentions.
Is Google evil or are they just trying to make search results more relevant?

I’m coming to this a bit late but I have upgraded to version 2.3.1 of WordPress.
Everything seems to work as it should although there were some minor issues with the way categories are assigned class or ID names with the updated Widget code. I have also been informed that WP-Andreas09 has some minor issues with the way categories are displayed with Widgets. A minor style sheet tweak will fix these so let me know if you need the fix and I’ll send it or put it up for download.
I’ve still got to get my head around the changes that have happen to WordPress, so if anybody knows some good tutorials about working with the new features such as tags, please let me know.

Yet again it’s been a while since I last posted and I’m starting to feel a little embarrassed by my lack of updates. At the moment I’m lucky to post once a month!
I don’t want this to be yet another apologetic post for not posting, so maybe a little discussion of what could happen would be better.
In fact I’ve been giving the future of this website quite a bit of thought recently. I’ve never really been happy just abandoning it while I do my studies but the problem is my studies take up most of my spare time so there is little time left for blogging. There is certainly no time for web design or WordPress themes either at the moment. And, if that wasn’t enough, there’s that little thing called work that also seems to get in the way! So there you have it - I’ve no time and too busy to blog / design / make themes etc.
The other problem is that I’ve also lost a lot of the enthusiasm I used to have for blogging due to being so busy with other things. The question has got to be, what do I do with this site? Here’s a list of some things I’ve considered:
- Ignore it and hope it goes away
- Delete it and start again. Yes all of it, themes and all!
- Sell it.
- Change topic.
I’m not sure what will work. I think the root of the problem is that I have lost a lot of the enthusiasm for blogging and I am too busy to be bothered a lot of the time. On the other hand I don’t want to see it all thrown away.
Anybody got any advice or ideas?
